NP231 Heavy Duty Slip-Yoke Eliminator Kit.
STANDARD APPLICATIONS:
All late model Dodge full size trucks utilising the slip-yoke style NP231D transfer case.
1988-2001 Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees with the NP231J transfer case.
Note: Cherokees with rear mounted vacuum disconnect switch (for the front axle) require special modifications.

FEATURES:
gem.gif Retains original mechanical or electronic speedometer drive system.

gem.gif Reduces overall transfer case length by 4.25 inches. Rear driveshaft length increases resulting in improved driveline angles.

gem.gif C.V. and Non C.V. style end yokes available to accommodate 1310 or 1330 U-Joints.

gem.gif Utilises a larger main bearing for increased strength (44%) under load.

gem.gif 7/8 " Thick Hard-Coat anodised billet aluminium seal retainer with 4 retainer bolts instead of original 3 bolt design.

gem.gifHeavy duty mainshaft with the following design advantages:
1) 18% Larger spline diameter.
2) 54% Increase in torque capacity.
3) 32 Output splines instead of the original 26.
4) Factory heat treat retained.
5) No resplining, annealing, weld overlay, or cutting done to the new output shaft.

2 Wheel Drive Low Range Shift Kit.
STANDARD APPLICATIONS:
All late model Dodge full size trucks utilising the NP231J transfer case.
1988-1998 Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees with the NP231J transfer case.
Note: Cherokees with rear mounted vacuum disconnect switch (for the front axle) requires special modifications.


FEATURES:
gem.gif New sector and mode fork CNC machined from 4140 steel. Heat treated for superior strength.

gem.gif All changes are internal to the transfer case therefore no external modifications are required for the shift linkage or body.

gem.gif Provides a mechanical disconnect for the front and rear output shafts while in the neutral shift position thus allowing for a true neutral.

gem.gif Improves flat towing characteristics via the "true Neutral" feature.

gem.gif "FWD" dash light is deactivated while in 2 WD low range.

gem.gif Front axle vacuum disconnect is deactivated while in 2 WD low range allowing for independent rotation of the right and left front axles. Better steering is the result.

gem.gif Fully compatible with the "Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit" and 4 to 1 planetary gear set.
